Manufacturing environment experience
Ensure assigned work is understood prior to beginning
Set up and operate standard grinding, deburring, and finishing equipment
Deburr, grind, or polish a variety of materials per required specifications. Part sizes range from small to large parts. Materials include steel, stainless steel, aluminum, etc.
Examine materials to ensure conformance to established standards
Safely operate overhead crane
Perform minor equipment maintenance
Ensure safety devices are properly installed and operative
Maintain clean and safe working environment
Inspect and measures work pieces to ensure the surface finish meets required specifications
Properly clock in and out of each job processed via data collection hardware (Start time and stop time). Physically sign off on job routers once work has been completed for applicable work center.
Properly stack parts on pallets when parts are complete
May work at different workstations as production needs require.
Track individual and/or company (KPIs) / metrics. Strive for daily improvements
