Agricultural Mechanic Seneca Foods in Blue Earth, MN is currently seeking an Agricultural Mechanic to join our team. The Agricultural Mechanic will have the ability to operate, troubleshoot, maintain and repair a variety of Agriculture equipment. They will also supervise assigned seasonal employees during seasonal harvest operations as well as overhaul and rebuild equipment during the non-processing season. Responsibilities:

• Responsible for repair and maintenance of peas and corn harvest equipment and related equipment.
• Maintain cost control over equipment for budget purposes.
• Maintenance in other areas of the facility when needed.
• Responsible for maintaining an even, constant, and sufficient flow of product of a quality that meets or exceeds company standards during harvest season.
• Employee relations.
• Ensure that GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety rules, and regulations are being followed and enforced.
• Work in conjunction with Area Supervisors to maintain production and quality.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness and ability to function in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good mechanical repair and trouble-shooting skills.
• Two-year degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
