VP Aviation is seeking several A&P Mechanics for MRO maintenance on a variety corporate/business aviation aircraft offering excellent pay rates based on experience.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:
- This is a contract position.
- Perform aircraft maintenance, repairs and inspections to aircraft, engines, and components for our Part 145 repair station
- Have an understanding of the procedures for the repair station.
- Have the minimum required tools to perform the mechanic duties
- Research maintenance task instruction guidance and parts required in manufacturer's maintenance manuals to perform the required tasks
- Identification or tagging of all aircraft components when removed from an aircraft undergoing maintenance or modification
- Protecting aircraft exteriors and interior prior to work commencement
Requirements:
- Airframe & Powerplant License.
- Experience in Aircraft maintenance.
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of the Federal Aviation Regulations and ability to understand manufacturers manuals.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in hot and noisy environment.
