Client : One of the largest Aerospace and Defense companies in the US
Overview :
May perform as a member of a functional and/or cross- functional team. Duties include assembly, disassembly, re-assembly, fabrication, screen, repair, adjustment, test and/or verification of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems in accordance with common military, commercial, and aerospace specifications.
Duties :
- Typical systems include avionics, missiles, weapons controls, aircraft armament, bomb racks, launchers and associated equipment. Electrical duties may include, but are not limited to, removal and installation of components, connectors, and wiring into cabinets, chassis, and console type assemblies.
- Mechanical duties include, but are not limited to, removal, installation, and adjustment of mechanical parts to precise tolerances.
- Structural duties may include, but are not limited to, light machining, sheet-metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs.
Qualifications :
- High School degree or GED equivalent.
- Structural / Sheet metal work, drilling, riveting, airframe repairs, working with Hiloks.
