We are currently hiring in our Analytical Chemistry group.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop instrument methods on HPLC, ICP-MS, GCMS, LC/MS/MS for various target analyses from complex matrices
- Perform method validations and optimize method performance for new sample matrices, high-throughput applications, repeatablility, etc.
- Optimize and develop procedures for the extraction of target analytes for chemical/biochemical analysis
- Set-up and run chemistry assays to detect contaminant compounds and determine levels of various target molecules
- Perform wet chemistry analyses such as assays, titrations, and analyte extractions on various sample matrices
- Collection and analysis of experiment data
- Literature research and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a MS in Chemistry or related disciplines with method development experience; PhD is preferred
- 5+ years of relevant laboratory experience excluding coursework
- Industry lab experience is a plus
- Must have working knowledge of aseptic techniques and laboratory skills
- Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well both within a team as well as independently with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills and able to apply scientific concepts using independent judgement and discretion
