Angular JS Developer Job Summary Cognizant is looking for an
Angular JS Developer with at least 10+ years of experience in developing customized product for our clients. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.
An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.
Multiple Locations: Bloomfield, CT (
Remote) Work Authorization: You should be legally eligible to work for any employer in the US without the need for a sponsorship now or in the future.
Responsibilities: •Work closely with offshore team for design, development, and review activities
•Work closely with product team and be the face of Cognizant team
•Developing new user-facing features using
Angular JS SPA •Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
•Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
•Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
Required Qualifications: •Minimum 8 years of experience in
Front end engineering •Minimum 6+ years of exp in AngularJS based Front end development
•Strong proficiency with angular building blocks, RXJS, NGRX state management, shared library implementation
•Strong proficiency in advanced
JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model •Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
•Familiarity with RESTful APIs
•Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
•Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
•Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
•Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
•A knack for benchmarking and optimization
•Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN}}
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 - $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
