Job Description
Responsibilities We are seeking a Venture Capital Associate Attorney with 4+ years of transactional experience to quickly integrate and support the firm's Venture Capital & Emerging Companies practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Drafting and negotiating venture capital investment agreements, including NVCA forms.
- Leading negotiations of key terms in venture capital investment agreements.
- Supervising, training, and mentoring associates in all aspects of venture capital financing.
- Advising emerging companies on day-to-day operational matters, including board and stockholder communications, approvals, and equity awards.
This firm encourages working from the office approximately
3 days per week .
Qualifications - JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Admission to or eligibility for admission to the Massachusetts Bar.
- At least four years of hands-on experience in venture capital and emerging company legal practice.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated professionalism and client engagement abilities.
- Strong prioritization skills, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
