Rate: $15.00-$20.00
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Set up bar for events providing a variety of alcohol, mixers and garnishes and break down bar at the end of events
* Take and prepare orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
* Check identification of customers to ensure compliance with server laws
* Record beverage sales, collect payment and make change for customers
* Maintain, clean and restock the bar during and after events
* Provide responsible service of alcoholic beverages and tactfully address situations with customers
* Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements **QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Strong communication/public relations skills
* Embraces and promotes diversity, equity, accessibility and inclusion initiatives
* Ability to operate cash register, portable credit card machine and handle cash transactions
* Ability to read, write and use simple arithmetic
**EDUCATION:**
High School diploma or equivalent
**EXPERIENCE:**
Minimum 1 year in similar position
**LICENSE/SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:**
* Must maintain a current responsible alcohol service training certification from a nationally-recognized certification program (T.I.P.S., ServSafe Alcohol, T.E.A.M.)
* Evening and weekend work to support events
