We’re on the lookout for a Bartender to join our team.
The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take drink orders.
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
- Adheres to state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Check identification to ensure customers meet the legal drinking age.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies: paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
- Handle credit card transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing excellent service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Carries out general cleaning duties to maintain health and safety standards, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Identifies and responds to guest intoxication in accordance with training. Exhibits understanding of liquor laws.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Airport Authority Background Check Required
- Must possess or be able to obtain TAMS, Serve Safe Alcohol and / or State required credentials
