Job Description

The role at Outta Bounds involves engaging with, entertaining, and delivering exceptional service and hospitality to every guest. This position includes selling food and beverages and emphasizes a vibrant, energetic personality with knowledge of sports, food, and beverages. The role requires adherence to Outta Bounds Image & Costume Guidelines.

THE COSTUME:

The attire is a defining feature of the Outta Bounds experience. Therefore, all employees must adhere to the Image & Costume Guidelines while on duty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Following all Image & Costume Guidelines
• Interacting with and entertaining guests
• Promoting events and specials to enhance business goodwill and profitability both in-store and on social media
• Providing top-notch service and hospitality, including greeting guests, taking orders, suggestive selling, inputting orders, delivering food and drinks, checking back for re-orders, pre-bussing, and settling checks
• Performing any additional tasks as assigned by management

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

No prior experience or training is required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Must effectively communicate in English.
• Must be able to read and understand the menu, write and input orders, and operate a computerized register system.
• Must be capable of suggestively selling menu items.
• Must effectively communicate with guests to enhance their experience.

REASONING ABILITY:

• Ability to apply common sense to carry out simple, one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with minimal variability.
• Ability to compute proper change and accurately settle checks.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Must attend orientation and adhere to Outta Bounds policies and procedures.
• Must complete the Outta Bounds training program before working independently.
• Must complete any required training, including food and/or alcohol service certifications, as per local and state regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The physical demands listed below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of the role. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and communicate with guests.
• Frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

• Regular exposure to fumes or airborne particles from the kitchen.
• Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions in the dish area or walk-in cooler.
