We are offering a generous $20,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Provide Expert Imaging in a Leading Cath Lab

As a Cath Lab Radiology Technologist, you will perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care in a Level II Trauma Center.

Position Summary:

The Cath Lab Radiology Technologist will perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques. The technologist will work collaboratively with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in the cardiac catheterization laboratory.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety.
• Operate imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
• Produce high-quality images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any adverse reactions.
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
• Adhere to all safety and radiation protection protocols.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

Required Qualifications:

• Formal training in radiology procedures or equivalent education/experience.
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license upon hire.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography upon hire.
• ARRT certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (VI) within 1 year of hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Participation in a continuing education program.
• 2 years of experience in special procedures or a Cardiovascular Lab.
