Job Description
The qualified Nurse, with experience in a similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient care.
- Provides routine and complex nursing care, planning long-term goals and managing clinical contingencies.
- Delegates appropriately to care team members to effectively handle clinical situations.
- Adheres to nursing competencies, utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, providing education to patients and families.
- Administers medications and treatments following protocols, monitors effects, and documents care details.
- Assesses learning needs and offers relevant education, identifying issues and resources.
Requirements - BSN preferred; 1 year of related nursing experience preferred.
- Valid RN license and BLS certification required.
- Work schedule: 5 days, 8 hours; per diem as needed.
