Role Overview:
Join a dynamic team under the supervision of a Professional Civil Engineer, assisting with project planning and design using the latest AutoCAD Civil 3D software. Work on a diverse range of projects, including commercial, municipal/public works, utility substations, residential developments, and schools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update CAD designs based on plan markups, sketches, and verbal directions.
- Collaborate with Senior Project Managers, Engineers, and other team members to provide drafting and design support for various project phases.
- Adhere to company CAD standards, file management, and design details.
- Prepare graphics and presentation materials for meetings, reports, and project development.
- Work independently on tasks and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adapt to shifting priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external clients.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma required; technical degree or CAD-related certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years in a civil engineering environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD required; familiarity with Civil 3D preferred.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
