As a Director of Corporate Communications & Sustainability, you will lead strategic communications efforts for top-tier clients, oversee a skilled team, and play a key role in business development. This position calls for a strong leader who can navigate complex media landscapes, cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, and drive sustainability initiatives that align with corporate values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute corporate communication strategies that align with sustainability goals.
• Foster and maintain strong media relationships across various industries.
• Work closely with leadership on executive communications and thought leadership initiatives.
• Mentor and guide junior staff, ensuring professional growth and strong team dynamics.
• Lead impactful storytelling efforts to elevate brand narratives.
• Manage and grow client relationships, providing strategic communication counsel.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in PR, media relations, and corporate communications.
• Strong understanding of sustainability trends and the ability to counsel clients on corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Open to candidates with a lifestyle or fashion background, provided they have corporate communications expertise and a passion for sustainability.
• Experience working with leadership on thought leadership and executive communications.
• A track record of securing top-tier media coverage and building strong industry relationships.

Title: Director of Corporate Communications & Sustainability

Location: New York, NY

Workplace Type: Hybrid - In-office 2x a week

Salary Range: $110,000 - $120,000
