Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Specialist - SEC Communications, Engagement, and Enablement to join our Communications, Engagement, and Enablement team. This individual will play a key role in supporting internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and event planning to facilitate the success of one of the largest digital transformations in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Engagement Initiatives: Plan and manage SEC program events, including monthly Connect meetings, quarterly All Team meetings, and employee newsletters.
- Critical Contributor Experience: Support onboarding and ways of working for SEC Critical Contributors.
- Knowledge Portal Management: Design and manage a knowledge portal for SEC program teams.
- Collaboration: Partner with teams such as testing and deployment to support event logistics and communication strategies.
- Program Distribution Lists: Manage communication distribution lists for SEC events and communications.
- Content Creation: Assist in developing written communications and audio-visual content aligned with SEC’s strategic narrative.
- Event Management: Oversee logistics for SEC events, including room reservations, Outlook invitations, AV arrangements, and Zoom meeting setups.
- Pulse Check and Action Plans: Leverage team health data to shape employee engagement strategies, administer surveys, and facilitate action planning.
- Internal and External Communication Alignment: Work with the SEC Transformational Office to ensure consistency across internal and external communications.
- Partnership Building: Cultivate strong relationships across the SEC program and act as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in communications, PR, marketing, design, psychology, business, event management, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in communications, HR, business, marketing, or a related field supporting global organizations.
- Excellent writing, strategic planning, and project management skills.
- Proven experience planning and organizing events for diverse audiences (virtual and in-person).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Forms), SharePoint, and video editing software (Adobe Creative Cloud and Campaign Monitor preferred).
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with media relations, event coordination, and public relations.
- Experience working with external PR agencies and freelancers.
- Ability to manage budgets and invoicing for assigned projects.
