We underwrite contract, fidelity, and commercial bonds, serviced through a network of more than 4,500 independent insurance agencies. Solutions provided include bid bonds, performance and payment bonds, and maintenance bonds for large, middle market and smaller growing contractors. We offer underwriting solutions in all 50 states.
Responsibilities :
- Contribute to company profitability with sound technical underwriting.
- Maintain and build a steady book of business with new and renewal business.
- Travel within designated territory to maintain and build broker relationships.
- Assist in Coaching and training Assistant Underwriters.
- Monitor and keep up with marketplace trends and conditions.
Must-Have Skills :
- Must have no less than 3 years of hands on Contract Surety underwriting experience.
- Essential to be located in the Upper midwest area.
- Strong Technical Underwriting experience and ability to build a profitable book of business.
