Sr. Data Scientist – eCommerce Pricing (Contract)

Location: Orlando, FL (preferred) or Glendale, CA (preferred);

Schedule: Monday–Friday (onsite Mon–Thurs preferred if near office)

Duration: Through 2/13/2026

Rate: $103.45/hr

We are supporting a high-profile pricing optimization project for a leading eCommerce business. The team is seeking a Sr. Data Scientist with deep experience in pricing models , Python , and machine learning to lead dynamic pricing initiatives for their eCommerce platform.

This role will focus on building and refining price optimization models to drive incremental margin and business performance, collaborating with teams across Merchandising, Finance, and Marketing .

Must-Have Experience:

• Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
• 4+ years in pricing analytics or retail pricing strategy .
• Deep statistical modeling & machine learning skills (regression, ARIMA, XGBoost, etc.).
• Strong Python (pandas, scikit-learn, statsmodels, etc.) & SQL proficiency.
• A/B testing, experimental design, causal inference.
• Excellent data storytelling and communication with visualization tools.

Preferred:

• Retail or eCommerce pricing optimization experience.

Other Notes:

• Onsite preferred if near Orlando or Glendale (4 days/week).
