Job Title: Driver
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drives box truck interstate and intrastate making deliveries and pick-ups.
- Loads and unloads vehicle safely using pallet jack and hand truck/dolly. Verifies items and quantities transferred and notates discrepancies.
- Adheres to all road and traffic regulations. Maintains all required DOT and other certifications including Class B CDL and medical card. Completes driving log and other documentation as required.
- Keeps vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Follows routes and timetables provided.
- Delivers notices and collects signatures and payments when warranted.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Occasional overnights may be required and compensated for.
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience – one year of related experience or training.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License and Medical Card.
- Language – ability to communicate effectively.
- Computer Skills – no computer skills needed.
- Supervisory Responsibility – no supervisory responsibilities.
- Physical Demands – employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment:
- Climate – extreme cold (non-weather & weather) to extreme heat (weather).
- Noise – moderate.
Compensation details: 25-30 Hourly Wage
