Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Support Professional at Civitas SLS, LLC in San Diego, California. The Direct Support Professional will be responsible for providing personalized in-home support, training in life skills, facilitating social activities, and job coaching to help individuals with developmental disabilities reach their goals and lead independent lives.

Qualifications

• Experience in Human Services and Training individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
• Ability to support individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
• Understanding of person-centered planning and support strategies
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred. If not already certified, training can be provided by the company
• Experience working in a similar role is a plus
