Responsibilities

B. Jackson Construction is looking for a well qualified and motivated Directional Drill Crew Lead/Foreman. The candidate must have at least three years experience in directional drilling with experience safely and successfully leading a directional drilling crew as well as drilling and locating experience. This candidate will need to be a strong leader with good communication skills and a strong emphasis on safety. Daily responsibilities will include:

• Delegating work to individual drill crew members
• Determining the safest drill path to include the necessary utility potholing
• Ensuring all City of Colorado Springs and Colorado Springs Utilities safety and construction requirements are met
• Safely placing new underground infrastructure for the Colorado Springs Utilities FTTH build.

Qualifications

As previously stated, a minimum of three years experience is required along with a minimum of three professional references. A Class A CDL license is preferred, but not a requirement.

Pay range is $35 - $40/hr. with an average of 15 hours of overtime per week. Medical, dental, vision insurance are offered as well as 401k and profit sharing.
