Job Description

Recruiting for onsite Health Information Management (HIM) Director/Privacy Officer for mid-sized health system in Alabama. This is an onsite position with direct responsibility for all HIM Operations, excluding coding. Qualified candidates will have the following minimum experience:

• BS Degree in Health Information Management with RHIA Certification
• RHIT certification will be considered with significant HIM Director experience.
• Minimum 5 years director level experience in acute care hospital setting.
• Well-versed in HIM, HIPAA, Revenue Cycle, ROI and Joint Commission Standards.
• Must be willing to work onsite.
