Novaris Search are exclusively partnered with a rapidly growing high-tech dietary supplement manufacturer in Utah, seeking to onboard an experienced Director of Lab Operations to drive compliance, quality, and safety while inspiring a team to achieve excellence in testing accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all laboratory operations, implementing policies and procedures
- Oversee laboratory budget and resources, including staffing and equipment
- Ensure adherence to quality standards & relevant regulations (e.g., CLIA)
- Participate in proficiency testing programs and ensure accurate test results
- Hire and train new staff
- Keep leadership informed on the latest advances in laboratory science and technologies
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required, Master's or doctorate preferred
- At least 3-5 years in dietary supplements or food laboratory
- Ideally with ISO 17025 experience
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and management skills
