Job Title: Director of Events - Development (Non-profit fundraising experience)

Job Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Job Type: Full-Time

Must Have:

Bachelor’s Degree
Non-profit fundraising experience in complex organizations such as higher education or health care
at least 10 years of non-profit event management experience, eight years of which must include managing team members and driving event revenue; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Familiarity with fundraising and events software, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, GiveSmart, Whova, and others

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree and at least 10 years of non-profit event management experience, eight years of which must include managing team members and driving event revenue; or equivalent combination of education and experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Non-profit fundraising experience in complex organizations such as higher education or health care.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (KSAs):

Proven track record in driving revenue through events
Familiarity with fundraising and events software, such as Raiser’s Edge NXT, GiveSmart, Whova, and others
Ability to lead cross-functional teams to complete projects on time and within budget constraints; builds consensus and fosters a sense of teamwork
Strong executive presence
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Resourcefulness, creativity, adaptability and flexibility required
