Q Investments, a multi-billion-dollar family office in Fort Worth, Texas is interested in immediately hiring a top analyst to join our investment team. This individual will work with a team of other investment professionals which handle both our private and public markets credit-related investments.
Position Description:
• Assist senior PMs with researching and monitoring new and existing investments
• Research and analyze macro trends in the high-yield and leveraged loan asset classes
• Generate new investment ideas along with senior PMs for potential investment
• Manage various processes that help us identify which securities to buy or sell
• Screen for and review new investment opportunities independently
• Develop and maintain various methods in understanding relative value across the high-yield and leveraged loan universe
• Calculate and monitor portfolio analyses to understand overall fund beta
• Monitor major periodicals daily for news and other information that may impact our investments
• Manage and coordinate various routine tasks with interns and participate in mentoring program
Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience with a top I-banking, PE, Hedge Fund or Consulting Firm
• Bachelor’s Degree with excellent academic credentials
