Job Description
The purpose of this position is to execute the maintenance inspections, repairs, and calibration of the electrical and some mechanical equipment.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Inspect and test electrical power systems and equipment.
- Make electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Organize and maintain an inventory of electrical parts.
- Learn to repair and maintain various electrical systems.
- Assist with equipment installations and testing to completion.
- Support our engineering staff by providing phone support in a 24/7 environment.
Position Requirements:
- An apprenticeship as an electrician or a Technical Degree in electrical maintenance, technologies, or science.
- Minimum of 10 years of industry related experience as a commercial, industrial electrician.
- Demonstrated knowledge of electrical theory and its application to repairing complex electrical systems.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work to completion with 100% success.
- Travel may be required.
- Basic understanding of electronics and willingness to learn television broadcasting equipment.
- Strong verbal and writing communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills.
- This position will require lifting of moderate to heavy equipment, 50lbs-100lbs.
