Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Dallas, TX 75246
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day Evening Night (12x3)
Responsibilities:
- As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will:
- Provide high-quality, compassionate, and efficient nursing care to patients in emergency and trauma situations
- Perform rapid assessments and triage of patients based on acuity
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize and respond to changes in status, and initiate appropriate interventions
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and unit-based performance goals
- Uphold patient safety standards and support infection prevention protocols
- Contribute to a team-oriented, supportive work environment through effective communication and shared decision-making
- Precept, mentor, and support new staff and nursing students as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Emergency Department experience
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or CEN)
