We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English 2 Instructor to teach a summer session course in Lancaster, TX. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to guide students in developing their analytical reading, writing, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English 2 curriculum following academic guidelines.
- Develop engaging lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Lead discussions and activities that promote critical thinking and writing skills. ●
- Assess and provide feedback on student assignments and progress.
- Maintain an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with students and program coordinators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Three years or more of teaching experience at the high school or college level.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt lessons to diverse learning styles.
