The Role:
As Critical Operations Manager, you'll lead and mentor site teams while maintaining mission-critical data center infrastructure, including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety systems. You'll be responsible for maintaining 100% uptime while driving operational excellence in Safety, Team Development, Availability, and Innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead data center operations staff and manage site-level programs
- Drive operational excellence through preventative maintenance programs
- Manage CAPEX/OPEX budgets and project execution
- Create and review technical procedures for maintenance and emergency situations
- Oversee vendor relationships and service contracts
- Lead incident reporting and root cause analysis processes
- Manage a team of 4-12 direct reports
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of data center or mission-critical operations experience
- 3-5 years of facility preventative maintenance program management
- Expert knowledge of data center systems (UPS, CRAH, Chillers, etc.)
- Strong understanding of NFPA standards and compliance requirements
- Experience with CMS, EPMS, and BMS systems
