Title: Federal Health and Safety Officer

Location: Milton, WA (Joint Base Lewis-McChord)

Hours: 6:30AM-3:30PM

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a Federal Health and Safety Officer to join a construction client of ours in the Milton, WA area in a base environment. This individual will be fully on site from 6:30AM-3:30PM. This individual must be familiar with federal practices to ensure safety standards assessed during site visits and audits. 8+ years of experience in federal contract experience is required. Must be comfortable presenting safety trainings to large groups and experience with DOT/FMSCA compliance.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of relevant experience
• Valid driver's license
• Federal contract experience
• Strong understanding of DOT/FMSCA compliance
• Strong understanding of construction operations
• Able to interpret/apply FAR and government safety terms

Plusses:

• Bachelor's degree in occupational health or related field
• Experience in union environment
• CSP or CUSP certification

Compensation:

$100,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.
