Key duties and details for
Field Safety Officer: - Provide operational support and ensure work is conducted in a safe manner and in compliance with company safety programs
- Lead thorough on-site investigations into incidents and injuries
- Perform detailed job site audits, prepare safety reports, inspect tools and provide support for management
- Plan, implement and manage safety program tasks
- Pay rate: $30/hr
- Temp-to-Hire
- Benefits (Medical, Holiday Pay, Vacation Pay)
- Paid weekly
Qualifications for
Field Safety Officer :
- Bachelor's degree or applicable certification is preferred (or obtainable within a reasonable time)
- Minimum 5 years' relevant experience
- Site safety management experience is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to travel to various project sites and/or work/reside at project locations for long durations away from home
- Advanced math skills and time management skills
- Ability to do moderate to heavy walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and reaching
