Job Description
We are seeking a Firmware Engineer to join our team. In this role, you’ll work on the firmware powering our in-vehicle telematics unit, including cellular network communications, Bluetooth, and CAN bus integration with the vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical point of contact for multiple onshore manufacturing partners.
- Design and integrate hardware, firmware, and backend technologies to address business challenges.
- Develop end-to-end connected device solutions involving RF, embedded systems, and networked products.
- Hands-on experience with RFID, Wireless 3G/4G, and Bluetooth technologies.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience developing low-level firmware, including device drivers and board support packages.
- Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Ability to read hardware schematics and use test equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, protocol analyzers) for debugging firmware.
- Previous experience working with ARM Cortex-M processors or other microcontrollers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
