The Greer Group, Inc. is seeking a Float Phlebotomist (Full Time Hours) for the Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Fuquay-Varina, and Holly Springs areas.
Job Description:
- Provide patients with excellent customer/patient service.
- Collect blood samples from patients.
- Practice proper patient identification.
- Label vials with patient names and dates.
- Decipher the best method for drawing blood depending on the specific patient.
- Requires electronic order entry (strongly skilled).
- Locations include Raleigh, Cary, Morrisville, Fuquay-Varina, and Holly Springs.
- Office hours are Monday-Friday, majority being 8:00AM - 5:30PM.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of High School Diploma and a Certificate/Diploma from an Accredited Phlebotomy training program.
- National certification (ASCP, ASPT, etc.) preferred.
- Able and willing to commute to different locations (reliable transportation).
- Must be professional in communication and presentation.
- Strongly prefer experienced candidates with minimum of two years, performing venipuncture on both adults and adolescents.
- Point of care testing experience a plus.
- Complete a successful background check and drug screen.
