Pay Rate: $60–$80/hr W2 (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Onsite, Monday–Friday
Job Description:
Our client is looking for a proactive and experienced Food Program Operations Manager to lead and scale food service operations across multiple office locations. This individual will play a pivotal role in vendor management, operational efficiency, and maintaining high standards in food quality, safety, and service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily food service operations across multiple San Francisco office locations, including micro kitchens, cafes, and event catering.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all food service vendors, managing relationships and ensuring consistent, high-quality service.
- Partner with vendors to develop and maintain menus aligned with employee preferences and company culture.
- Set and track operational Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned with company-wide goals.
- Monitor budgets and cost-per-person metrics, ensuring financial responsibility as operations scale.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations in coordination with the health department.
- Collect and evaluate employee feedback to identify areas of improvement and drive satisfaction.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Support potential office expansions, adapting food programs accordingly.
Requirements:
- 6–8 years of experience in food and beverage operations, preferably across multi-office or campus environments.
- Proven experience in vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management.
- Strong financial management skills with the ability to oversee large-scale budgets.
- Excellent project management and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of food safety practices and regulatory compliance.
- Comfortable working onsite 5 days per week and traveling locally between office locations.
