COMPENSATION:

Hourly Pay: $32.48 This position is covered under the Teamster Mechanic Agreement

General duties include responsible for the repair on all warehouse moving equipment.

Repair, service and maintain all material handling equipment including electric and gas forklifts, transporters, tuggers, and electric and manual pallet jacks.
Decision making and problem solving required
Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs with minimal assistance
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Must furnish basic tools
Ability to deal effectively and professionally with all levels of individuals doing business from within and outside the Company
Perform repairs in other shop departments as needed

Must be at least 18 years of age
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Must have a valid California Driver License with clear record
Minimum of four (4) years of forklift maintenance and repair experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be available to work a flexible work schedule, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Experience with repairing and maintaining propane forklifts along with scrubbers
Strong electrical troubleshoot experience with A/C, D/C, and current
Strong knowledge and experience with hydraulic diagnostic
Must furnish basic hand tools and roll-a-way toolbox
Must pass a physical and pre-employment drug test
