Location Worcester Were looking for a German speaker available for an immediate start to join a multilingual team in an international engineering and manufacturing company. After training you would be providing customer support to businesses, dealing with export and order queries. The role is a 6-month contract that could be extended to 8 months or made permanent to support the customer service team due to increased export regulations. Please note that due to extensive training you need to be able to go to work at the offices in Worcester. The office has minimal attendance and COVID-secure processes in place. **The Role** You will be interacting with a mixture of very large multinationals and some smaller companies in Germany and the UK. The role involves: Taking calls from business clients and updating them on order status Taking inbound orders from existing business customers Providing quotes from various price lists on the phone and by email Providing technical product information Providing support on lead times, troubleshooting discrepancies and queries Many employees are working remotely, but due to the nature of the job and the training required, you will need to be working in the air-conditioned Covid-safe office. Working as a part of a multilingual team you will be working alongside French, Spanish and Dutch-speaking colleagues. In non-Covid times there are a couple of hundred people on site mostly in the factory, manufacturing, engineering and design teams. **The Person** You must be able to speak German to a very high, near-native level You must be very good on the phone with excellent listening and prioritisation skills Previous experience of supporting business customers on the phone or experience of manufacturing would be beneficial. The company is in modern offices in a business park to the north of Worcester, with easy access to the M5, Birmingham, Cheltenham, Stow-on-the-Wold, Leamington Spa, Stratford, Stourbridge, the West Midlands and Midlands. They have ample parking and a regular bus to the Worcester stations. **You must be able to get to the office**, to work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday.
