Description
Position Summary While working as a Graphics Intern, you will be responsible for working with pre-made templates, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency for client artwork and layouts. You will also handle various departmental duties and tasks. This role involves ensuring that all jobs are print-ready and meet quality and specification standards while providing support to the Graphic Design Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Work on pre-made template jobs such as business cards, brochures and benefit guides.
- Tracking time in EPMS through Data Collection.
- Proofing the Graphic Designers proofs to the customers.
- Able to make Intro Calls out to customers when needed.
- Following up on the proofs sent to the customer via email and by phone.
- Processing & Printing Paperwork for the job box review/proofing.
- Requesting and processing change orders/processing change orders.
- Discussing Job Ticket issues with Project Managers.
- Discussing Client Issues and Job Issues with Relationship Managers
- Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications - Completed coursework in graphic design.
- Solid understanding of computers, data entry, internet searches, the Microsoft Office suite, the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and email applications.
- Proficient Adobe InDesign knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong desire to learn, grow and be mentored by senior designers
- Assist with various other tasks as needed in the department
