The School of Medicine Graphic Designer handles creative and art production, graphic design, photography editing, production work and image preparation for a variety of digital and print Communications, Advertising and Publications needs.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, journalism, or related field.• Three years’ experience in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field, to include experience producing multimedia, email and web graphic design, as well as experience with the printing process/press checks and effective management of outside production vendors.• Experience working within a marketing, advertising or other communications team.
Preferred Qualifications• More than 2 years’ experience in graphic design, advertising, marketing, communications or a related field, to include experience producing multimedia, email and we graphic design, as well as experience with the printing process/press checks and effective management of outside production vendors.• Ability to work in an agency-like setting, collaboratively, with other members of creative project management and production in a fast-paced work environment. • Ability to integrate interactive and print design with an excellent sense of color, type, and contemporary style, while maintaining brand integrity.• Experience creating smart, compelling visual design that embraces a strong understanding of marketing and communications strategy.• Experience in video editing and related graphic design.
