Lakeside Gardens is a private event center conveniently located on Foster Rd in Portland. Lakeside Gardens seeks versatile employees to add to our team!

We are looking for Servers and Staff Supervisors to join our team for our private events catering operation. Positions are mostly weekends with occasional weekday opportunities. Flexible schedule based on your availability, you can work just a few weekends a month or as many hours as we have to offer.

Our Staff Supervisors will work closely with the Event Coordinator to make sure all aspects of the event are running smoothly. The Staff supervisor is the “Charge” person for all catering staff. They would assign employees to tasks that need to be completed throughout the event and oversee details for the event set up. This may be a position one would work towards once they learn the details of our business.

Job Duties

• Assist with set-up and breakdown of reception hall for a variety of events
• Assist with food service to guests
• Bussing tables
• General Cleaning

Responsibilities

• Arrive on time, in uniform & ready to perform to the best of your ability
• Deliver prompt and courteous service
• Perform assigned duties for event
• Help set-up catering items prior to food service
• Assist serving guests through the event
• Carry out basic cleaning tasks around the premises
• Sweep/mop floors
• Redress tables with linens, napkins, silverware, centerpieces, etc...
• Respectfully takes direction from fellow team members

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Qualifications

Ability to work part-time hours on a flexible schedule

• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (Preferred)
