Now Hiring: Health and Safety Consultant (Hybrid | $48K–$50K)

Location: Harrisburg, PA

Employment Type: Contract | Supporting the Pennsylvania State Police

Abel Personnel is hiring on behalf of our public sector client for a Health and Safety Consultant to support safety initiatives for the Pennsylvania State Police . This hybrid position includes a combination of on-site work, telework, and travel to worksites across the state.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver health and safety training both in person and virtually
• Conduct safety assessments and AIPP audits
• Analyze injury and illness data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
• Support regulatory compliance and contribute to a strong safety culture
• Collaborate effectively with personnel at all levels
• Travel to assigned worksites as needed (must have reliable personal transportation)

What You Need to Succeed in This Role

• One of the following:
• An AIPP certification with less than two years of occupational safety experience
• An AIPP certification with two or more years of occupational safety experience
• At least two years of occupational safety experience and currently pursuing AIPP certification
• Learn more about AIPP certification requirements:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
