Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of students with special needs? We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in supporting students by developing individualized education plans (IEPs), adapting lessons to meet diverse learning needs, and fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to support students with varying abilities.
Collaborate closely with staff, parents, and administrators to create an inclusive and positive learning experience.
Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instructional strategies as needed.
Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing discussions about student progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
Georgia Special Education Certification (required).
Experience working with K-12 students, particularly those with Autism and behavioral challenges.
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
