IRT Home Care, a division of the IRT Group, provides a range of services to people living in their own homes across NSW, QLD and the ACT. We are seeking motivated and dedicated Home Care Employees to join our team for an immediate start!
Our industry is growing rapidly and as a result we currently are looking for candidates who have a genuine passion for supporting older Australians living independently. You will be joining a supportive and growing team that is passionate about providing general, personal and clinical care to our customers who remain living independently.
**Your responsibilities will include:**
* Providing personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistance
* Providing domestic assistance such as food preparations and household cleaning
* Transportation to medical appointments, shopping, social outings and other customer tasks
* Regular reporting and communicating customer progress
* Following individual care plans
**To be successful you will have:**
* A Certificate III in Individual Support (highly desirable)
* Medication competency (desirable)
* A current First Aid certificate (or willing to obtain)
* A current valid drivers licence
* A reliable registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance (work related approved kilometres are paid fortnightly)
* The availability to work across the day
* Support provided from management and experienced team
