$120k - $150k M-F 8-5pm - ONSITE Location: South Amboy NJ No relocation SUMMARY: We need someone proactive to lead our estimating team and help it grow. Candidates should be good at building relationships and selling. The role focuses on construction, but experience in service estimates and project management is helpful. 5+ years of HVAC Estimator Management experience. Responsibilities include bidding, follow-up on bids, analyzing why certain bids were unsuccessful, refining bidding processes, and fine-tuning estimations. Handling estimates of various sizes, from small to large projects. Prioritizing tasks effectively. Working alongside three other estimators: one senior and two junior, with a focus on double-checking bids and mentoring. Specializing in HVAC estimating. Acting as a funnel to address challenges and provide updates on project statuses. Applicants must have experience in HVAC. Ability to do bid walks and measurements when needed. Hands on management style. Mentoring the junior estimators and managing 1 SR estimator.
