Job Description
Position Title: Infrastructure Engineer Sr
Position Location: on-site 5 days in office
- Richmond Data Center - Sandston, VA 23150
Schedule:
- Working Hours: 3pm-1:30am
- Training - 8am-5pm; M-F
- Days: Sunday-Wednesday
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Installation, removal, and maintenance of servers, cabling, and networking equipment
- Experience with fiber optic technologies and structured cabling (including testing and remediation)
- Ability to diagnose faulty hardware components and Layer 1 connectivity issues
- Knowledge of data center rack power and connectivity requirements
- Knowledge of day-to-day operational support of enterprise data centers
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology
- Physical ability to lift and move approximately 50 lbs
Flex Skills:
- Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Use of ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow)
- Familiarity with data center infrastructure management tools (DCIM, CMDB) Soft Skills:
