Position: Inventory Control Specialist (On-site – Full-Time)
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at our Conroe, TX facility. This role is critical in maintaining accurate inventory levels to support smooth and efficient production. Responsibilities include executing physical inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and improving inventory control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits
- Ensure accuracy of inventory data in ERP systems
- Identify and investigate inventory discrepancies, root causes, and corrective actions
- Monitor inventory transactions across receiving, production, and shipping
- Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to optimize inventory flow
- Support shipping and receiving processes as needed
- Maintain clean, organized inventory areas that comply with safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in inventory control, inventory management, or warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory software
- Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and material handling procedures
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or coursework in inventory or supply chain management preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting is a strong plus
