$2.13 shift premium for 2nd and 3rd shift!
This is an hourly non-exempt position reporting to the Shift Supervisor. This position will run manual machines (lathes, mills, drill press) and general repair on machines and die cast dies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verification to part print of the part being run
- Qualify the part during running and after completion
- Set up tooling required for each operation
- Repair breakouts and die cast tooling issues in die cast machines
- Break down and complete PM’s on units and dies as they cycle thru
- Mentor apprentices throughout their apprenticeship program
- Troubleshoot all equipment out on plant floor
- Hand grinding after welding is a must
- Transfer information between shifts
- Read and complete work orders
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Supervisor
Education / Training / Experience Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Machine shop experience preferred
- Journeyman Tool and Die or Mold Maker card preferred
Minimum requirements (training, experience, education):
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
- Good math skills (Geometry/Trigonometry)
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to perform the duties of Machinist and Welder

Pay: $37.86 - $42.08 per hour
