Job Description

KDW Home is seeking a full-time kitchen and bath designer/salesperson to join and support

our existing team in either our Richmond or Virginia Beach, Virginia showrooms. Our designers have a

hand in every part of the process. As a designer at KDW Home, you will be responsible for designing

residential kitchens and bathroom projects from the initial design concept phase through completion.

This includes working directly with clients, interior designers, and architects to understand their

vision and recommend products, materials, and finishes. In addition to sales and design, designer

responsibilities include estimating project costs and project management.

The ideal candidate is detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This candidate should be professional with a willingness to learn and collaborate with our team as well as clients and other industry professionals. 

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of custom cabinetry design and sales experience is required
• Interior design degree/background, preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, required
• Proficiency in SketchUp, preferred
• Fluid with Windows and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel locally daily and weekly to occasionally regionally (within 2-3 hours from the showroom).
• Physical ability to lift 25-30 pounds occasionally.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-Time, In-Person in either Richmond, Virginia or Virginia Beach, Virginia
• Pay: Salary, depending on experience and qualifications + Commission
• Schedule: In-person, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
