Senior Technology Analyst – L3 Cyber Security Infrastructure Support
Location: Delaware (Onsite, 3 days/week minimum; moving to 5 days soon)
Type: Full-time, Onsite Only (No remote option)
About the Role
Cyber Security is seeking a motivated Senior Technology Analyst to provide L3 support for security infrastructure in a large enterprise environment. This role involves infrastructure support, security assessments, project transitions, and issue resolution for systems and tools. Candidates should have deep expertise in system administration (Linux or Windows), scripting, and security technologies.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5+ years supporting enterprise infrastructure (Windows Server or Linux/Unix)
- Strong scripting skills in Shell or PowerShell
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities
- Manage complex distributed application infrastructure
- Lead infrastructure and security projects
- Perform capacity, performance, and stability reporting
- Mentor team members and document knowledge
- Support transition of tools/systems into production
- Conduct root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Maintain monitoring and automation scripts
- Ensure compliance with security and operational standards
Preferred Skills (Pluses)
- Security & PKI: TLS certificates, PKI standards (X.509, CRL, FIPS), Venafi, HSMs
- Networking: VLAN, GRN, Firewall, TCP/IP, Load Balancers, DNS, OSI model
- Databases: Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra; strong SQL
- Web & Protocols: IIS, Apache, NGINX, OpenSSH, LDAP, REST/SOAP/WCF
- Monitoring & Automation: Autosys, Tivoli, SiteScope, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Chef
- Virtualization & Storage: VMware, LDOMs, LPARs, SAN/NAS/JBOD
- Other Tools: Active Directory, SharePoint, WebLogic, WebSphere, Kerberos, Powerbroker
- Languages (Nice to Have): Python, Perl, Java, C/C++
Certifications (Nice to Have)
- CISSP, CCNA/CCNP, CEH, RedHat, MCSE, ITIL
