Job Title: Machine Operator (Night Shift)

 
Openwork has a client that is looking for a dynamic team member. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our Clients production equipment during the night shift. You will be responsible for setting up and operating various production equipment to achieve peak performance while maintaining product quality and adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate straightening, polishing, and drawing equipment;
• Configure cutting, annealing, coiling, hydro testing, degreasing, and cleaning equipment;
• Operate cranes and other manufacturing machinery as required;
• Maintain maximum efficiency throughout production processes;
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment;
• Load and unload trailers with finished products and materials;
• Utilize micrometers, Vernier calipers, and tape measures to ensure precise measurements;
• Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator in a manufacturing environment preferred;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and measurements;
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work;
• Willingness to work the night shift from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Compensation: The starting pay for this position is $17 per hour. Candidates with relevant experience may be eligible for a higher rate based on their qualifications.

Shift hours: 10pm- 7am (Night Shift), must be able to train on first shift from 6am - 3:00 PM.
