Electro-Mechanical Technician

You'll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining high-performance production lines while ensuring seamless changeovers. Keep food machinery and industrial equipment running at peak efficiency, from conveyors and PLCs to boilers and variable frequency drives.
- 6-month Contract to Hire Position
- Pay Rate: $30/HR-$36/ W2
- The schedule is Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM-4:00 PM with the opportunity for overtime
- Miami, FL Office Onsite Role
What You’ll Do:
- Work on AC & DC systems (120/240V & 12/24/48V).
- Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, sensors, motors, and industrial machines.
- Install and upgrade control systems for peak production performance.
- Perform gas/arc welding, pipefitting, and mechanical modifications.
- Maintain and repair warehouse, lift equipment, and facility infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and GMP standards.
- Be ready for emergency breakdowns and weekend shifts when needed.
What You Bring:
- Technical degree or certification (vocational training is a plus!).
- Hands-on experience in industrial machine maintenance.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and automation knowledge.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, and machine assembly.
- Physical stamina to handle a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
