Full-Time, Year-Round Inboard Diesel Technician
Location: Padanaram Village, South Dartmouth, MA
South Wharf Yacht Yard, a busy and well-established full-service yard, is seeking an experienced Inboard Marine Mechanic / Diesel Technician to join our exceptional team. This is a stable, long-term position offering above-market pay, benefits, and ongoing manufacturer training .
What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, service, and repair inboard gas and diesel engines, generators, and related yacht systems
- Commission and decommission vessels each season
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic electrical and water systems
- Work on high-quality yachts in a clean, modern, and well-equipped waterfront facility
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience with marine systems and diesel engines (Volvo, Cummins, and Yanmar experience a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
- Self-motivated, reliable, and team-oriented
- Desire to learn and grow through ongoing manufacturer training
